For actors:

• Intensive On camera acting ICFT

  Choose to work in Spanish or English for one intensive week. The student will learn and better understand their strongest and weakest skills in front of the camera. In On camera acting ICFT you will have the opportunity to develop two different characters, in close up and in medium shots. The actor will learn and appreciate the work of the director of photography, the sound engineer, the make up artist and production designer. Students will learn how to tell a story and create their characters utilizing all the different technicians and collaborators on a film set. You will learn about marks, continuity, camera lenses and sound and the final effect on your ultimate work. The daily work in front of the camera will help you recognize your own weaknesses and turn them in strengths while learning to communicate without fear in front of the camera in medium shot and close up. At the end of class you will be provided with the best quality images to use for presentations, video books and for distribution in the entertainment marketplace.

• Acting in English

  Act in English with freedom and confidence. The student will do workshops in dialogue, improvisation, and cold reading for film and TV. This work will enhance your pronunciation, tone and rhythm with the goal of speaking the clearest English when working in front of the camera. You will have he opportunity to analyze your own work while watching the playback of the work you do in English in front of the camera. When the class is completed you will receive your filmed materials on DVD or digital tape.

• Radio and promotion speakers

  Curso dirigido a todos aquellos actores que estén interesados en ampliar sus posibilidades de trabajo en la radio y en publicidad radiofónica.

  El curso tiene cinco objetivos básicos:

  - Conocer el medio radiofónico y publicitario: su historia, situación actual y futuro.
  - Aprender las técnicas de realización necesarias para poder incorporarse al mercado laboral del sector.
  - Formarse en la creación de guiones, pautas y elementos documentales necesarios para los diferentes formatos del medio.
  - Ser capaz de realizar un programa de radio propio a través de internet (podcast) que pueda servir de escaparate en línea de las capacidades del alumno.
  - Desarrollar habilidades de trabajo en equipo y coordinación para la realización de programas.

• Fight club: action scenes

  Learn and practice the tools you need to do an action scene in cinema. In this class you will master basic combat techniques; and, you will receive a basic understanding of sword fighting, fencing, boxing, blows, kicks, punches and martial arts, and how to act truthfully in an action sequence.

• Production

  Aprende como se construye una película desde la fase inicial de desarrollo hasta su estreno.

  Conoce la interacción entre el productor, productor ejecutivo, director de producción y el jefe de producción; cuáles son sus roles, tareas y responsabilidades.

  Haremos que confecciones una imagen del productor distinta, como creador de posibilidades para la creación conjunta de una obra audiovisual.
