First team is the creator of (ICFT -“First Team On Camera Acting Techniques”).
The market, audiences, directors and producers at an European and International level demand a modern, useful, and practical training method that creates synergy within the ranks of the different professions in the film industry.
The first team actor practices a natural technique, working with his or her own creative choices, developing abilities that work well in front of the camera, and learning methods that are not taught in theatre schools or classes. At first team you learn, for example, to communicate in close-up and to study your image on screen, so as to better understand how the image is perceived. You will also learn how to communicate your ideas to the director and the other creative departments.
Part of the tuition is geared towards providing an understanding of promotion. You will learn different ways to promote yourself in the market place, and you will gain an understanding of how actors, producers and distributors all work together in relation to film promotion.
At the end of the course, the actor receives a professional videobook, shot in high definition and containing his or her best performances, which can then be used for castings and auditions.
The producer knows that an actor educated at first team is a technician and an artist who knows how to analyze a script, how to create dialogue, appreciates the work of cinema and TV actors, is capable of self-analysis, and understands the value of teamwork, production, and editing.
The first team cinema director learns how to be an ally with the actor beginning from preproduction. The first team cinema director knows how to communicate their ideas and understands how to inspire the actor. At first team we share our passions and observe the complexity of human relationships. The director learns to facilitate the integration of the team, allowing everyone to be creative and open.
Our goal is to reach a maximum efficiency and transparency between directors and actors and to facilitate their work together as creators and specialists in communication.
